The Dark Room

I haven’t posted for a while, and as always, this is because I’ve been in a technical rehearsal and unbelievably busy.  But!  At long last I’m back at the wordface, and figured I’d take this time to say what I’ve been working on, and to add that actually, I think it’s very good.  It’s a play called the Dark Room, at the New Diorama Theatre, near Euston.  It was bloody difficult to light, mind you, but all things considered… I’m mostly pleased with the effect!  And oh yes, the writing and directing are damn good too!  It’s lovingly based on a play by Brecht, who is a writer I have yet to fully get to grips with, but it’s so full of energy and enthusiasm and humour that frankly, you’d only really know if you were looking closely…
